• Location: Located in the Abadan, Shadegan, and Sarbandar region • Client: National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) – Exploration Directorate • Scope of Work : Acquisition and processing of 3D seismic data covering an area of 1,900 square kilometers and Acquisition of 2D seismic data along a total length of 400 kilometers This project is considered as one of the largest seismic survey operations in the country, implemented in swampy terrains and shallow-water areas of the Shadegan Wetland. Extreme heat during spring and summer, unbearably cold water conditions in autumn and winter, the lack of proper logistical equipment for transportation in these areas, and severe corrosion effects on electronic devices due to dissolved salts in water are only a few of the challenges encountered during the execution of this project.
