• Location: Western Golestan Province and the eastern sector of the Khazar (Caspian) Sea • Client: National Iranian Oil Company – Khazar Oil Company • Scope of Operation: Acquisition and processing of 877 kilometers of 2D seismic data across the onshore–offshore transition zone The Khazar seismic project spans three operational zones: onshore areas, shallow coastal waters, and deepwater offshore sections of the Khazar Sea. This operation represents the first seismic survey in the Khazar region since 2013.This project is of strategic importance as it aims to identify cross-border gas reservoirs shared with Turkmenistan, with the objective of securing energy supply for northeastern cities of Iran.
